This Rolex watch is in great, honest vintage condition consistent with age. The case is strong with scratches and appears to have been lightly polished. The bevels are still visible. The case also has some light nicks along the edges. The bezel ring has remained sharp. The red-back bezel insert is in great condition with light scratches and wear. The colors have remained vibrant. The dial is in great condition with light patina. The hands have developed patina/ oxidation on the borders which is not uncommon. The lume in the hands and on the dial have aged and developed patina. The lume in the hands has aged a bit more yellow than the lume on the dial. The bracelet is in great, honest condition with some wear and scratches. It has light stretch between the links.

The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. Rolex initially used glossy dials in the 1675 until around 1966 and switched to matte dials.
This circa 1979 example is in overall beautiful and honest condition. It features a lovely "Pepsi" bezel that has remained vibrant over the years. The lume has aged to a lovely off white, creamy color adding to the vintage charm.
This watch has what collectors refer to as a Mark 4 dial and the defining characteristic of this is the placement of the "M" in "Master" over the "C" in chronometer, the right vertical bar sits right on top of it. If you are looking for a classic GMT with matte dial and vibrant "Pepsi" bezel this checks all the boxes.

Great and easy transaction. Very professional and communicative. For sure a solid experience.
Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
