This Rolex watch is in great vintage condition consistent with age. The case is in good condition with scratches and nicks, it appears to have been polished. The tip of the 11 o'clock lug has an indentation on the corner. The red-back bezel is in great condition with some wear and even fading throughout. The date wheel is a later replacement with open 6's and 9s. The dial has remained glossy and is in overall very nice condition with some wear, light scratches, and imperfections throughout. The lume has aged to an attractive yellow color and the hour marker at 12 has aged darker than the rest of the plots. The hands have developed patina. The lume in the hands has aged to a yellow color that matches the lume on the dial. The lume in the hour hand shows some degradation and dark patina at the bottom of the hand towards the base, this can be hard to notice. The bracelet is a later replacement that would have been used on a Submariner with fliplock and divers extension. The bracelet is in good condition with scratches and some wear, it has some stretch between the links. This bracelet has an error divers extension where "Patented" is spelled "Pateted."

The GMT Master is Rolex’s signature pilot’s watch, complete with dual-time capabilities. It came to market in 1955, with ref. 1675 following shortly after in 1959. It’s one of the most sought-after vintage Rolex watches on the secondary market because it’s instantly recognizable with its 24-hour bezel and dedicated GMT hand. The Rolex 1675 was also notably the first GMT Master to use crown guards. The example we have here is from 1966 and features a glossy dial, this would be the last glossy dial variation before Rolex went to the matte dials.
Glossy GMT's hold a special place in collectors hearts. From the fat font faded bezel to the nice glossy dial this GMT has a great vintage vibe.

Great and easy transaction. Very professional and communicative. For sure a solid experience.
Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
