This Rolex watch is in vintage condition with surface wear consistent with age. The dial, hands, date wheel, bezel, and bracelet are later service replacements. The dial and hands are feature tritium lume. The lume on the dial and hands have aged evenly to the same pale yellow color. The black bezel has been well preserved and is still dark black with light wear. The bracelet is in great condition with light stretch and some wear throughout.

It was very common for Rolex to change and update watches when they come in for routine service and that is exactly what happened to this 1675. The watch is circa 1966 and it underwent a service where the dial, hands, bezel, bracelet were all updated. Changing components was pretty standard for Rolex and we see it all the time. This specific example has a tritium dial and hands and since it was done a long time ago the hands and dial have developed patina giving the watch a handsome, vintage aesthetic. These all serviced up examples offer serious value when comparing them to all original examples from the same era.

I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
