Ever since the first Datejust was unveiled in 1945, Rolex has worked to improve upon its design to stay in line with changing trends in fashion. Released in 2009, the Datejust II offers a larger 41mm case size for those who prefer a watch with a bigger presence on the wrist. Along with the larger case size, reference 116333 also features a calibre 3136 self-winding movement. The addition of the Parachrom Hairspring to the movement makes it highly resistant to shocks and temperature changes to provide a highly accurate reading. The classic styling of the Datejust is still present in this modern reference with its fluted bezel and automatically changing date window. A welcome modern yet classy design includes a 3-piece link Oyster bracelet in Yellow Rolesor and a rich grey dial set with bold black and green Roman hour markers.
