| Case: | Stainless case that has previously been polished and shows some wear and scratches. The inside caseback is engraved 5512. Comes with an excellent bezel that shows some wear and light fading. Serial and reference numbers are clearly visible. Acrylic crystal is in good condition with some wear. |

| Bracelet: | Excellent 93150 stainless steel Oyster bracelet with 12 links, 593 end links and divers extension. Back of the clasp is stamped "H" indicating it is from 1983 which makes sense for the case production. Bracelet shows some wear and has a bit of stretch between the links. |

This Rolex watch is in great, honest vintage condition. The case is good condition with some scratches. The case appears to have been polished. The bezel insert is in great condition with some wear and scratches. In certain lights the bezel looks graphite grey. The pip at 12 is a later replacement and shows some wear. The matte dial is in great condition with light patina. The lume on the dial and in the hands has developed patina and aged to a lovely cream color. The hands and hour markers have developed patina. The bracelet is in good condition with wear and some stretch between the links.

Rolex introduced ref. 5513 around 1962 and it was in production until 1989. It was one of the longest continually produced references from the brand. Rolex initially used glossy dials in this model and swapped to matte around 1966, like this example. Rolex made many variations of the matte dial and this circa 1982 example has a "Maxi" dial. Rolex made these "Maxi" dials from around 1978 to 1984. "Maxi" refers to the lume plots being larger than the ones on previous 5513s. This watch has a Mark V dial and some characteristics of this mark are the open 6's in the depth rating and the word "Submariner" being longer than the depth rating below it. Collectors tend to gravitate towards these because of the subtle, yet more striking appearance.
